The 1/144 Gundam Sentinel Model Series (NGGS) is a line of Gunpla kits of the Mobile Suits from Gundam Sentinel, an MSV line that takes place during the Zeta Gundam and Gundam ZZ timeline. The line marked the Gunpla debut of mecha designer Hajime Katoki. Originally released in 1987, the line was put on hold for over a year due to Bandai prioritizing their efforts on Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack.[1]

Modelers refer to these kits as "Old kits" (旧キット Kyū kitto?) when comparing them to their High Grade Universal Century and Master Grade successors.
