The AF-01 Mongoose is a two-seat ground-attack aircraft developed by the Earth Federation. It is featured in the Mobile Suit Variations series.

HistoryEdit

The Mongoose was first deployed in U.C.0050 with the Earth Federation Army, and was a prominent aircraft for tank-busting. The Mongoose was a low-flying attack aircraft armed with a heavy cannon, rockets, and bombs. The Mongoose nevertheless suffered heavy losses during the One Year War against the Principality of Zeon's mobile suits.
