The AGE-1R Gundam AGE-1 Razor is a variant of the AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE -UNKNOWN SOLDIERS-. It is piloted by Flit Asuno.

Technology & Combat CharacteristicsEdit

A proposed close-combat form to overcome the low wear resistance of the AGE-1 Spallow's Shiguru Blade ^[1]. Whereas the Shiguru Blade used the Spallow's thrusters to increase the degree of cutting ability, the Razor is designed with emphasis on destructive power and takes advantage of the mass of the "Razor Blade" swords ^[1]. In addition, the Razor Blades utilize a superimposed multilayer structure, giving the AGE-1 Razor the ability to continue combat even if the blades become worn by immediately exposing a new cutting edge^[1]. By combining both Razor Blades, they can be thrown like a boomerang ^[1].

It is possible to maneuver and attack by taking advantage of the considerable inertial force generated by the weight of the blades ^[1]. However, it requires great skill to pilot the AGE-1 Razor, and is difficult to control without X-Rounder-level abilities ^[1].

System FeaturesEdit

AGE System: The AGE System is the Special OS for the Gundam AGE-1 engineered by the lineage of the Asuno family. It researches the evolution of living beings by digitizing the mysteries surrounding it and collects battle data to customize itself, grows alongside the pilot and is customized and used exclusively by the pilot itself. The only person who can use this system is Flit himself. In order to mobilize the Gundam, the AGE Device must be used.

During the first revelation of the mobile suit, a mistranslation led to calling the AGE 1-Razor the "AGE 1-Raiser". This caused a slight uproar among people, who were saying that the name AGE-1 "Raiser" was nothing more than a rip-off of the 00 Raiser from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. But eventually, the matter was cleared up, and the true name of the suit was revealed to be Razor.
AGE-1 Razor's leg design resembles that of the Gundam Throne series from Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
