The Bisidian is a faction of space pirates which are featured in the manga series, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Memories of Sid and the Kio Arc of the anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE.

Overview

Bisidian is an enemy of the Earth Federation Forces who have successfully attacked numerous Federation vessels. In fact, their attacks have been specifically targeting members of the Earth Federation who were secretly working with the Vagan. As such, they are Vagan's enemies as well. They are also involved with relief efforts for residents of colonies threatened by Vagan. The organization has a deep ties with the Fardain colony. The faction boasts a wide network of contacts and abundant fighting strength.

They were previously led by Captain Angrazzo, but their current leader is Captain Ash, who commands them from the mother ship Baronche.

After the end of the Vagan war, Bisidian adopts a different stance and ventures into the business of resource surveying. Its MS are also renovated for space exploration such as the Rogue Bat. At one point it was called the "Bishidian Connection" due to its prosperity in the resource development industry.

Trivia

• In the third generation of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, Bisidian has appeared as one of the Earth Federal Forces enemy. Or more specifically, they've fought against EFF units that were collaborating with the Vagan, as explained by Asemu.
• Bisidian shares many similarities to the Crossbone Vanguard from the manga series Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam. Besides the aesthetic emphasis on traditional pirate themes (skulls and crossbones, etc.), their main pilots (Seabook Arno in Crossbone and Asemu in AGE) both took on aliases and were former ace pilots of the Federation Forces in the respective universes.
