The Cattle (キャトル) is a mobile suit from the Universal Century timeline.

Technology and Combat CharacteristicsEdit

A colony construction worker built before the One Year War, the Cattle serves as a worker on building colonies in space before the first mobile suit was introduced. Several of these units were produced by the federation but got phased out when the One Year War had finally began.

HistoryEdit

Throughout the course of history, the world manages to somehow forget the existence of a small old colony in the general area of Side 3. Over time, the people of Moon Moon abandon technology and revert to a more primitive state. They allow forests to overgrow and build pyramids in the style of the ancient Aztecs and Mayans from Earth. The people of Moon Moon believe in the creed of the Light, which involves living in harmony with the Moonlight to attain peace. Though they abandon use of technology, the machines themselves still exist. One such machine is the giant mobile worker Cattle, which is worshipped by the people as a god. In UC 0088, a battle breaks out between the crews of the AEUG's Argama and Neo Zeon's Endra within the colony, and Mondo Agake and Rasara Moon reactivate the ancient Cattle to show people it's only a machine. Despite the Cattle's age, Mondo is able to destroy several of the Endra's AMX-003 Gaza-C units on his own during the battle.
