Emilio Ribisi (エミリオ・リビシ Emirio Ribishi?) is a fictional character in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Emilio is the deceased lover of Sumeragi Lee Noriega (Leesa Kujo). He was a pilot in the AEU military under Leesa's command before his death.

History
Little is known about Emilio, other than he was a mobile suit pilot and was under the command of Leesa Kujo (Sumeragi). Apparently they gotten close and became lovers, but their relationship was short lived.
Death
Emilio was caught in accidental friendly fire when Lessa received bad intel. Using the unreliable information, fellow AEU soldiers battled each other through the night until it was revealed friendlies attacking friendlies. Emilio was mortally wounded and spent his final moments comforting Lessa; she blamed herself for this incident. On his death bed, he tells her,

If that's what they call destiny, no amount of fighting can stop it; the ones who arrive first on this path no one can see, are those who have lost their lives. That's a result of God's guidance... | ” |
Emilio succumbed to his injuries and died in front of Leesa. Emilio's death would be the trigger that lead Lessa to quit her military career immediately. The tragic event would forever haunt her as she later joins Celestial Being as Sumeragi Lee Noriega in hopes to atone for the mistake.
