The F90II-I Gundam F90II Intercept Type is a configuration of the F90II Gundam F90II featured in Mobile Suit Gundam F90.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

A mission pack designed specifically for the interceptor role, it is a high mobility unit that equips a Flying shield with built-in boosters and additional leg thrusters. It is armed with a specialized Beam Lancer. It was completed at the same time as the L-Type mission pack on October 28, U.C. 0121.

A close-combat beam weapon, it can be used as a beam gun for long-distance firing.
  • Flying Shield
A large shield with built-in boosters. There are claimed sightings of atmospheric flight and re-entry at sea. It is possible to assume an MA-like form during flight. When doing so, the head is hidden by the shield in order to reduce air resistance.
