The Connected Armored Vehicle is a vehicle introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
A light armor vehicle used by ZAFT. It has four-wheel steering, and a modular weapon platform mounted on the back, to increase the vehicle's versatility in the field. There are three types of weapon platforms available; a large caliber linear gun platform, a low caliber cannon turret platform with two missile launchers, and a patrol platform consisting of a machine gun and spotlight.
History[]
First Alliance-PLANT War[]
The Connected Armored Vehicle was mainly operated as support machines for maintaining public safety, traffic restrictions, and ground combat in the towns of the PLANT Colonies and other territories. During the First Alliance-PLANT War, the vehicle was used for support in ground combat and was most notably used by Andrew Waltfeld forces during his occupation of North Africa.[1][2]
Second Alliance-PLANT War[]
The Connected Armored Vehicle was still in service by C.E. 73, with many stationed at Armory One.[3] They were also used during the Phantom Pain attack during the Battle of Berlin, to no avail.[4][5]
