The Bering-class is an aircraft carrier used by the A-Laws and Earth Sphere Federation Forces in season 2 of Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
A large twin-boom aircraft carrier for transporting and operating mobile suits and large mobile armor, such as the Trilobite.[1][2] There are two large hangars at the rear,[1] allowing the ship to carry at least 10 mobile suits based on their size. It is armed with retractable laser cannons, anti-air laser phalanxes and depth charges for search and destroy operations.[1][2] It also has tactical rooms, a command bridge that retracts during combat,[1] MS maintenance bays, living quarters for soldiers, and advanced sensors to detect Celestial Being's units.

- Depth Charge
- The mid-top section of the ship has several launchers for launching numerous depth charges into the waters.[2] These depth charges are chemical bombs, they contain synthetic resin that upon impact will absorb seawater, then expand and solidify into a mesh-like structure that restricts the enemy's movement underwater.[2][3] An identical resin is also used in the Chemical Jelly Bomb of the GNMA-04B11 Trilobite mobile armor.[3]
- Laser Cannon
- Retractable cannons mounted on the middle section of the ship, their barrels are of the same type as those used on the Guyana-class.[1]
- Anti-Air Laser Phalanx
- Retractable, defensive guns used for intercepting missiles and mobile suits.[1]
