MS-05HS Prototype Zaku Minovsky Particle Scattering Equipment Type is a mobile suit that appears in the manga Stampede: The Story of Professor Minovsky.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

This machine is an MS-05A early production model Zaku I equipped with a device for spraying Minovsky particles. A Minovsky particle dispersal unit, which until then was said to be only possible to mount on battleships, was mounted on the back of the Zaku, and it was tasked with jamming radar waves as a support machine for the MS, which had an advantage in visual combat. However, since the unit itself was quite large, it is said that this machine itself was not suitable for combat.

History

Just before the outbreak of the One Year War, the Earth Federation Forces Space Fleet encountered a prototype of the Principality of Zeon's secret weapon, the Zaku, in the airspace of the Corregidor Reef. This machine was the one equipped with special weapons that later made the leaders of the Earth Federation Forces aware of special effects such as radio interference caused by the spraying of Minovsky particles (the Minovsky effect), and shook them.^{[citation needed]}
