Bilancia Bea (ビランチャ・ベーア Birancha Bea?) is a fictional character from the manga Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn: The Noble Shroud.
History[]
A veteran Neo Zeon MS pilot, 1st Lt. Bilancia was burly, outgoing and confident of his piloting skill. Operated primarily in Palau and was known affectionately by his colleagues as "Vintage" due to his penchant for baptizing rookie MS pilots with impromptu surprise training sessions to teach them the harsh reality of battles. Bilancia expressed no fear of the shortcomings of AMX-101E Schuzrum-Galluss, when the unit's engineer Juli expressed deep concern of its unreadiness due to its exclusion of a propulsion backpack and vernier thrusters.
During the final battle in stopping the SCVA-76 Nahel Argama's advance towards Industrial 7 to retrieve the Laplace Box, Bilancia and his Schuzrum-Galluss was dispatched as a storm trooper to attack the EFF battleship's deck. After being knocked off the Nahel Argama by one of the RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam's propellant tanks, Bilancia and his Schuzrum-Galluss drifted into space but came across a badly damaged RGZ-95 ReZEL with its pilot alive. The compassionate Bilancia saved the EFF pilot by strapping the ReZEL torso with the Unicorn Gundam's propellant tank and pushed it toward Nahel Argama. While Bilancia contemplated his fate, he and his Schuzrum-Galluss were found and saved by Juli and her Zssa booster.
