Cynthia Graves (シンシア・グレーブス?) is a character in the 2000 live-action TV movie G-Saviour. A marine biologist and student of Doctor Riva, she seeks to retrieve his research on a bioluminescent enzyme.

Personality & Character[]

History[]

Cynthia Graves was initially conducting research under the tutelage of Doctor Riva of Hydro-Gen to discover a way to solve the ongoing global food crisis by growing food underwater. Their research eventually led to the development of a bioluminescent enzyme that was lost after Doctor Riva's assassination. She, along with a group of Gaeans from Side 8, broke into Hydro-Gen in an attempt to retrieve a sample. However, this resulted in the death of one Gaean, and her capture. She eventually convinces ex-CONSENT pilot Mark Curran of her intentions, and the two retrieved several samples from the lab. While Mark was able to convince Cynthia to give him the sample to report it, Jack Halle orders his men to open fire on both of them forcing them to escape as fugitives.

Eventually meeting with the surviving members of her Gaean party, they flee to Side 4, where they reveal the existence of the enzyme to Philippe San Simeone and the Illuminati. They then return to Gaea.

By this time, Cynthia has fallen in love with Mark and asks him to help fight for Gaea, which he initially refuses. However he quickly changes his mind after finding out his fiance Mimi had conspired with CONSENT to attack Gaea in exchange for charges being dropped for herself and Mark upon their return to CONSENT.

Following the battle of Gaea, Mark was offered political asylum in Gaea, but opts to return to CONSENT to clear his name. He proposes Cynthia join him on Earth to continue her research, which she accepts.
