VGMM-Gf10 Gundam G-Lucifer (ガンダム G-ルシファー?) (aka G-Lucifer) is a mobile suit featured in Gundam Reconguista in G. It is piloted by Raraiya Akuparl.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Gundam G-Lucifer is the newest G-type mobile suit developed by the G-IT Laboratory that is still in the testing phase, thus two extra seats are added in the cockpit for checking and operating.[1][2] Equipped with Photon Armor, high quality radar, and main thrusters that have high output and durability, this refined machine has high performance worthy of the name Lucifer (the morning star, Venus).[2] It is also said to have Minovsky Flight generator built into its feet, allowing it to fly independently under gravity.
With its streamlined body and a mono-eye as its main sensor, the G-Lucifer has a distinct appearance from other G-type mobile suits, such as the G-Self and G-Arcane. Like the G-Self, it is a “universal standard” mobile suit that can be easily operated. Similar to how the Gaeon is specialized to utilize the Big Arm, the G-Lucifer is designed specifically to utilize its Skirt Funnels. Such a design embodies the G-IT Laboratory's philosophy of using mobile suit as the base unit of special weapons.[2] On the other hand, if it loses its funnels, its firepower will be drastically reduced. Besides the funnels, it is also armed with a pair of beam sabers and can use ordinary beam rifle.[2]
Armaments[]
- Beam Saber
- A close combat weapon that emits a blade-shaped beam for melting and cutting through armor. A pair are stored in the G-Lucifer's left thigh.
- Skirt Funnel
- The main armament of the G-Lucifer, three of them are mounted on its waist. Each skirt funnel has six beam cannons on the sides, and a mega cannon at the center.[3] Besides serving as remotely controlled beam cannons for conducting all-range attacks, the skirt funnels can also function as a barrier when deployed in a triangular pyramid formation in front of the mobile suit. They can also fire their beam cannons while still attached to the G-Lucifer. These funnels also function as the G-Lucifer's main thrusters, so losing them would affect its firepower and mobility.
- Beam Rifle
- A portable beam weapon manufactured by the Amerian Army. It is a mass-produced product, designed as a general-purpose model. It has a small number of parts, making it easy to maintain.
Special Equipment & Features[]
- Moonlight Butterfly
- A system that uses an I-Field produced from the G-Lucifer's back to spread nanomachines over a wide area, breaking the molecular bonds of artifacts and disintegrating them into sand.
History[]
During the G-Lucifer's adjustment in Venus Globe, it was easily taken away by Manny and Noredo as the engineers never expected intruders, and also because of its universal standard controls. It then became an addition to the mobile suit team of the Megafauna, piloted by Raraiya, along with Noredo as a navigator.

- The G-Lucifer is the only mobile suit other than the System-∀99 ∀ Gundam and Concept-X 6-1-2 Turn X that can use the Moonlight Butterfly.
