The ZGMF-X2000CQGB&S GOUF Crusher Custom is a variant of the ZGMF-X2000CQGB&S GOUF Crusher introduced in the novel Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray B. It is piloted by Elsa Weiss.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

After Elsa Weiss's GOUF Crusher lost its legs in combat against the Serpent Tail, it was repaired and modified into the GOUF Crusher Custom for higher close combat capabilities. The suit gains two new weapons, a right foot that can transform into a larger version of the arm-mounted Impact Vice, and a lancer unit in the left leg. In addition, both of its feet are refitted with rollers, allowing the suit to dash across the ground speedily and enter close combat range in an instant. It is unknown if this is an official design created by ZAFT or an original design by 'The Clan', the mysterious organization that carried out the modifications.

Armaments

• MA-M757 "Slayer Whip" Heat Rod linked Spherical Breaker

A heavy flail-like hammer that consists of 2 parts, 1) a Spherical Breaker that is stored on the backpack when not in use, and 2)the MA-M757 "Slayer Whip" Heat Rod mounted in the right arm. The heat rod can be used on its own without the Spherical Breaker, which contains rocket thrusters to increase its attack power. This weapon is similar to the "Mjolnir" Spherical Breaker used by GAT-X370 Raider Gundam.

• Impact Vice

The GOUF Crusher Custom retains the original GOUF Crusher's left-forearm mounted Impact Vice. When in use, the forearm will swing back while the vice swings forward. The GOUF Crusher Custom's right foot can also transform into another larger Impact Vise, with the lower half of the foot forming one arm of the vise while the the other arm is mounted on the heel. Both Impact Vise use the power from explosive cartridges to crush the captured enemy unit.

• Lancer

A large lance is mounted in the left leg, it can be propelled forward using the power from an explosive cartridge. The lancer is usually deployed after the enemy unit is caught in GOUF Crusher Custom's Impact Vise. Even against enemy unit with PS armor, the impact from the lancer is sufficient to cause major internal damage.

History

In C.E. 73, Elsa Weiss's GOUF Crusher was damaged during a battle by the ZGMF-1001 Elijah's ZAKU Phantom and upgraded in a 'The Clan' facility into the GOUF Crusher Custom.
