The Shrike Team (シュラク隊, Shrike Team^?) was a unit of all-female mobile suit pilots of the League Militaire that was featured in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam.

Overview

Originally formed and lead by Oliver Inoe, the Shrike Team initially served as the League Militaire's first combat unit. The Shrike Team mainly consisted of skilled female MS pilots led by Junko Jenko. They assist the League Militaire in their military campaign against the Zanscare Empire in the U.C. 150s. By the end of Victory Gundam, all members have died.

In Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam: Ghost, there's another all-female MS pilots team known as Rear Shrike Corps.

Order of Deaths

1. Helen is killed after being hit directly in the cockpit of her Gun-EZ.
2. Mahalia is killed after her Gun-EZ's cockpit is damaged and subsequently explodes.
3. Kate is killed when her Gun-EZ takes a fatal beam saber thrust to the cockpit, while her mobile suit was supporting the damaged section of the space port launch rail.
4. Peggy is killed after her disabled Gun-EZ took a beam saber to the cockpit by Cronicle Asher's MS after trying to save Uso in a Zanscare Space Colony.
5. Junko is killed by the exploding bomb that Cronicle Asher left on the Keilas Guile while trying to deactivate it.
6. The remaining members are killed by Katejina Loos during the Battle of Angel Halo.

Trivia

• Several of the members of Shrike Team are named after real-world musicians. Kate Bush is named after Kate Bush, Cony Francis after Connie Francis and Peggy Lee after Peggy Lee, while Mahalia Merrill and Helen Jackson's names are combinations of Mahalia Jackson and Helen Merrill.
• SRW tends to let Shrike Team live through out the entire game. The writers themselves tend to throw in a line to mention how they are glad to live and see to the end.
