Heinz Baer (ハインツ・ベア?) was a character who was first mentioned in Mobile Suit Gundam: Big Picture Book of Strategy and Tactics.
Background[]
Baer was a Federation MS pilot during the One Year War, and pilot of the FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam. He was known to have participated in the battle of Solomon. Baer was credited with 37 enemy kills and two vessels sunk. He was killed by Johnny Ridden in his MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type "Full Bullet Zaku" during the Battle of A Baoa Qu on December 31, 0079.
