Henry Boone (ヘンリー・ブーン?) is a fictional character from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Cross Dimension 0079 (1995) video game. He pilots the MS-08TX Efreet.
History[]
Henry Boone was originally part of Kycilia Zabi's personal guards, but was accused of attempting a coup during the Battle of Loum by anti-Zabi loyalists and immediately demoted. The wounds on his face are traces from the interrogation at that time. He is a calm and collected person with good analytical skills, but he is always looking for a fight.
In fact, he had received an order to destroy the Earth Federation Forces' new mobile suits, but he didn't inform any of his team members except Martin. As a result, he seems to have approached the enemy base under the pretense that he had gotten separated from the main force (the "Side Stories" version clearly states that this was the case, but it seems that he did not inform Martin either). Eventually, he goes toe-to-toe with the new RX-78XX Gundam Pixy.
After numerous attempts to take the base and several comrades dead, Boone attempts a desperate strike on the base in his Efreet as the base commander Noct Gaddish and staff are preparing to evacuate. Noct escapes on a Medea and Gundam Pixy pilot Bork Cry is left abandoned, both of his wingmen killed, he has a tense face off with Boone. Boone is ultimately killed in the last battle when his Efreet is destroyed.

- If the player (Bork Cry) loses, Boone is said to have participated in the Battle of Solomon afterwards, but his whereabouts after that are unknown.
- In a departure from many of the stories present in the "compilation", the Cross Dimension 0079 scenario in Mobile Suit Gundam Side Stories is played and presented from the perspective of Henry Boone and the Wolf Gar team, rather than Bork Cry and the Albatross team as depicted in the 1995 game.
