Mobile Suit Gundam MSV-R The Troublemakers (機動戦士ガンダム MSV-R ザ・トラブルメーカーズ) is a photonovel written by Tohru Takasaki and Harunosuke Takaoka, published by Dengeki Hobby in 2013.

Story[]

After the end of the One Year War, Dean West, a former Zeon mercenary, along with his partner Masa Ookawa, and the beautiful yet mysterious Marie Martin are working hard trying to earn money by taking on illegal "work" using Mobile Suits. This ranges from busting Federation officers trying to advantage of the chaos resulting after the end of the war, to soldiers from Zeon who continue to stubbornly resist. Throughout the course of their "work," Dean starts to develop an association to Captain Damon Caseley of the Federation's MS Military Police.

It is later revealed that Dean's purpose for making money is to pay off a debt he incurred trying to purchase the colony "Agartha" in order to house people who have no where else to go due to the One Year War. He manages to eventually earn enough money after coming across some gold that was hidden in a sunken Jukon-class ship that both the Federation and Zeon forces were fighting over.

Dean and his team attempt to deliver the gold to Carlos Sarido, a former Zeon soldier and a black marketeer, at a private colony in Side 6 to pay off their debt. They are however, interrupted by Federation forces who were sent there by a high ranking Federation official, who then begin to try and apprehend them. During their escape, Dean's High Mobility Ground Type Zaku becomes heavily damaged.

Meanwhile on "Agartha," a new strand of colony flu begins to spread. Dominic Arest, a Federation official, begins to deploy troops in the colony as a means for building a factory for a pharmaceutical company to treat the epidemic. Dean's trust in Carlos starts to wane when he realizes that Carlos is hiding information from him about what was happening in the colony. With the help from Damon, Dean and his team then head to space.

After confronting Carlos, Dean finds out that the cause of everything that has happened so far, including the flu epidemic, was because of Dominic. After a battle that takes place in "Agartha," Dominic surrenders, but with the heavy cost of the colony collapsing.

Dean then buys another colony from Carlos and calls it "Agartha II," so the previous residents can continue to have a safe place to stay. He then goes on another dangerous money-making spree to pay off his debts once again.
