Robert Gomez (ロベルト・ゴメス) is a fictional character in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam. He is a 55 years old veteran pilot, and a lieutenant in the Earth Federation Forces.
History[]
Robert Gomez is the captain of the Reinforce. Initially a Mobile Suit pilot member of the infamous AAAA Team, he started cooperating with the League Militaire after the organization assisted his team on the African frontline by sending the Bluebird Team as reinforcements.
He first appeared on screen as the pilot of one of the planes camouflaged under the PCST to transport the LM312V04 Victory Gundam to Arti Gibraltar. Subsequently, he took command of the Reinforce when it joined the other vessels of the League Militaire in space.
He commanded the Reinforce Junior throughout the conflict until his death in the battle of Angel Halo where he battered the heavily damaged ship into the enemy fleet, using its damaged reactors to destroy the rest of the Motorad fleet.
