The XMS-005 Thieleva (ティエルヴァ Tieruvua?) is a variant of the Earth Federation Forces's WMS-GB5 G-Bouncer introduced in the Three Generations Arc of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. it is piloted by Girard Spriggan.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Thieleva is a MS developed by the Madorna Workshop for the Earth Federation Forces' X-Rounders.[1] Using the same frame as the WMS-GB5 G-Bouncer, it is completed using data from the G-Bouncer Deos. It has a similar head unit as the G-Bouncer Deos, but with protrusions on both sides of the head, an additional large antenna at the centre, and an improved sensor system with its twin-eye cameras protected by a visor.
The binders on the back of the G-Bouncer and G-Bouncer Deos are replaced by new remote control weaponry called the T Bits. Aside from the T Bits, the Thieleva retains most of the G-Bouncer's armaments, using the same beam rifle and beam sabers, but its shield is switched to the one used by the G-Bouncer Deos. Overall, the Thieleva has high combat potential as an X-Rounder machine and is even comparable of fighting on an even level with the AGE-FX Gundam AGE-FX.
Armaments[]
- DODS Rifle
- The Thieleva uses the same DODS Rifle as the G-Bouncer and G-Bouncer Deos as its primary ranged combat armament. It can be stored on the rear waist when not in use.
- Beam Saber
- The Thieleva's main close combat armament, two are stored in the side skirt armor and they emit a beam blade during use.
- Shield
- A defensive armament, it is the same shield as the one used by G-Bouncer Deos and can withstand both physical and beam attacks.
- T Bit
- A pair of remote-controlled weaponry stored on the Thieleva's back and usable only by X-Rounders. When deployed, they allow the Thieleva to perform all-range attacks and can be used for both ranged and close combat. For ranged combat, the blades at the front of the bits open up, allowing beams to be fired from an emitter at the center. For close combat, the blades can spin at a high speed like a drill for piercing through enemy machine. The bits can also be thrown like a spear at the enemy, and can serve as thrusters when attached to the Thieleva.
History[]
The Thieleva and its pilot, Girard Spriggan, who had defected to Vagan, battled against the Earth Federation Forces that was trying to recapture Luna Base from Vagan's control. During the battle, the Thieleva quickly joined Fram Nara's Xvb-fnc Fawn Farsia in attacking Kio Asuno's AGE-FX Gundam AGE-FX. However, they failed to damage the AGE-FX despite their barrage of attacks. Flit Asuno's AGE-1G Gundam AGE-1 Glansa and Asemu Asuno's AGE-2DH Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound later arrived to assist Kio and his AGE-FX, while Zeheart Galette's xvt-zgc Ghirarga provided support for the Thieleva and the Fawn Farsia. As the battle progressed, Zeheart grew concerned over Girard's overexertion of her powers, but she insisted on continuing the fight.
As the fighting dragged on, Girard lost control of her X-Rounder powers. She stunned all units in the fight except for the Dark Hound, and turned all their weapons against them. Aside from using a small group of bits and funnels to protect her Thieleva, Girard also used the Ghirarga as a shield for her mobile suit so as to stop the Dark Hound's attacks. Girard was later distracted, allowing Kio's AGE-FX to evade all the defending bits and funnels and attacked the Thieleva. With the Thieleva focused on the AGE-FX, Flit used the opportunity to destroy the Thieleva by shooting through it from above.
