The YMS-06Z Psycommu Early Test Type Zaku is a mobile suit from the Mobile Suit Gundam The Blue Destiny manga series.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
A prototype mobile suit developed by the Principality of Zeon as a preliminary step to the "Bishop Plan", which aims to create mobile suit equipped with the Psycommu weaponry. This machine was designed to test the Psycommu system and not meant for actual combat, with its only armament being the two wired bits on its back. In addition, in order to take advantage of the reaction speed of the Newtype, thrusters have been added to various parts of its body, allowing for fine attitude control. The legs also have no walking function, as the feet are replaced with thrusters. Its head is slightly larger due to the analysis equipment mounted in it. The Psycommu Early Test Type Zaku also served as the custom unit of Marion Whelch, a Newtype working under Dr. Chlust Moses.
Armaments[]
- Wired Bit
- A pair of psycommu armament stored on the YMS-06Z's back that fires physical projectiles. The two bits are wired guided for data collection, and their large size is probably because the miniaturization of the psycommu system has not yet been completed.
Special Equipment & Features[]
- Psycommu System
- A man-machine interface exclusively for Newtypes. This system allows a Newtype pilot to control the mobile suit and its remote weaponry by thoughts alone.

Some of the data obtained from this machine was used in the development of mobile suits created under the "Bishop Plan".
