The Zaku Speed is a variable mobile suit that appears in the manga series Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Generation.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Zaku Speed is the Principality of Zeon's only variable prototype MS, said to have been deployed on the European front at the end of the One Year War. It is an experimental machine with a transformation mechanism into a fighter (MA form). The MS form closely resembles the Zaku, and the armament of the MS-06F Zaku II can be used without modification. Although the development process of this machine has not been revealed, it is highly perfected for a MS built during the One Year War era, and in actual combat it showed outstanding mobility, overwhelming several RGM-79 GM units of the Federation Forces. However, because it was a variable machine, its armor was thin, and it was defeated by the RX-78E Gundam GT-FOUR, which was also a variable MS.

It is said that the development data of this machine was lost during the confusion after the end of the One Year War, but many researchers question the existence of this machine, as its transformation mechanism and MA form design are clearly over-specified for a MS during the One Year War.
