Basically guys i would like to get some new admins around the site. As we all know the past admins seem to have disappeared and the main page news updates and stuff. So im what im saying is we should vote or agree on some one to become admin.
I volunteering to become admin and later probably add some more. So i would like to have a discussion about it so yea telle me your ideas and if u want to be admin aswell.

You guys should have poked me if you needed help. The Gundam Wiki has actually been part of Wikia ACG for awhile and so I'm always open if the wiki has issues.
So firstly, what kind of issues are you having that need an admin? Protection? (I don't see any pages around for me to unprotect for you guys), Deletion? (Tag it and point me to the category and I can get rid of it), Vandalism? (I'm active far more than most people, and I idle in both #Gundam and #wikia-acg on FreeNode so just poke me... Wells its mainly the main page .. it doesnt really apeal to new users and wat not. First the navigation isnt very user friendly, next alot of the info isnt up to date. Thats about it for the main page. Theres also the help/support pages which normally are edited by admins, cause if normal user edit them it doesnt show much authority on the site.(might just be me .. )
Personally why i want to be admin, is cause of the convenience of just pressing a button and u can delete duplicate or incorrect pages, being able to contribute more to the community, and allowing more control for counteracting against spammers/vandalism.
Having active admins makes it feel like the site is being properly maintained and that the information provided is reliable and accurate. So people criticize that the work inst correct if its a site contributed just by random people coming in and out without someone watching over procedures.
Well maybe all this is just my own personal feelings ... I can live without adminship =)

PS: i think i did tell you about the main page situation on irc once.
- Anyone can go and fix up the pages, they're not protected. Wiki are about open editing. Honestly, a sysop is far from authority, admins have the same standing as other users.
