The GAT-X105B/CM Build Strike Gundam Cosmos is an upgraded version of the GAT-X105B/ST Star Build Strike Gundam that briefly appears in the final episode of Gundam Build Fighters. It also appears in Gundam Build Fighters: GM's Counterattack. The Gunpla is built and controlled by Sei Iori.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
Used by Sei during the 8th Gunpla Battle World Championship, the Build Strike Gundam Cosmos is visually quite similar to its predecessor, the GAT-X105B/ST Star Build Strike Gundam. Little is known about it, but it does not seem to use any beam rifle or physical shield and is implied to have an improved Radial General Purpose (RG) System. It is seen deploying a barrier when its RG System is activated.
- Vulcan Gun
- The Build Strike Gundam Cosmos possesses four head-mounted vulcan guns, which are mainly used to intercept incoming missiles and enemy units at close range.
- Beam Saber
- The Build Strike Gundam Cosmos possesses two beam sabers as its primary close combat weapon. Its beam sabers are powerful enough to destroy an enemy unit with a single hit. When not in use, the beam sabers are stored on the hips of the unit, the same spot where the combat knives are stored on the original Strike.
- Beam Cannon
- Mounted on the backpack, the beam cannons are positioned under the shoulders when used by Build Strike Cosmos and their barrels can extend when in use.
Special Equipment & Features
- Radial General Purpose (RG) System
The Build Strike Gundam Cosmos was used by Sei Iori during the 8th Gunpla Battle World Championship Japanese Third Block Qualifiers. Sei is trying to fulfill his promise with Reiji to become stronger and battle him one day. After the Build Strike Gundam Cosmos launched, its RG system was activated and a barrier was deployed. The Gunpla then charges forward, leaving a colorful particle trail in its wake.
Later, Sei upgraded the Build Strike Cosmos for an exhibition match which featured a new large-scale battle system designed by Nils Yajima.
