The GN-0000GNHW/7SGD2 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection (aka 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection, 00 Seven Sword/G Inspection, 00) is a variant of the GN-0000GNHW/7SG 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G. It first appears in the variation series Mobile Suit Gundam 00V: Battlefield Record.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection is a variant of 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G. Before the creation of 00 Qan[T], CB engineers attempted to restore as much of the original capabilities that 00 Raiser had before losing its Twin Drive System. With only one GN Drive, they decided to test an experimental Twin Drive alternative by refitting the lost GN Drive with a GN Condenser and testing new combat equipment: GN-0000GNHW/7SG 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G.
After testing the 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G, Celestial Being engineers discovered that the refitted unit is unable to properly utilize Trans-Am with the single GN Drive (plus the GN Condenser), but it can temporarily be used for 0.03 seconds with the double Particle Tank configuration. However, such limited capabilities encouraged engineers to design new technologies to utilize GN Particles more efficiently.
Fereshte member and Celestial Being engineer, Sherilyn Hyde, was involved in enhancing GN Condenser technology, to improve particle utilization on 00 Gundam. She believed that although GN Condensers do not have the ability to generate GN Particles, it should be capable of temporarily match the capabilities of a GN Drive; Sherilyn's goal was to construct a new condenser-based Twin Drive System, using only the large GN Condenser tanks. It is unknown however whether this proposed system was completed by the time the GN-0000RE+GNR-010 00 Raiser GN Condenser Type was deployed.
The Inspection is a slightly improved design of the 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G, with a performance increase of five percent. The reason why it is colored red is to differentiate it with the original 00 Seven Sword/G model, which is colored blue whenever it is tested in the simulation. The color red was chosen purely because it is liked by Sherilyn. It is indicated that with further research, the performance of the unit can even be improved further. Sherilyn even thinks that the actual performance is even better than what the battle data indicates.
The GN-0000GNHW/7SGD2 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection only appeared in a simulator design battling Cherudim, Arios, and Seravee. The test was a success, with 00 beating all the other Gundams singlehandedly in a short time and was able to match each and every one of them in their specialized traits.
00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection produced and sold by C3 x Hobby (c/o Hobby Japan), in a special edition kit.
