GNMA-0001V2 Regnant 2 is a variant of the GNMA-0001V Regnant. It first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam 00N.

Technology & Combat Characteristics
The Regnant 2 is a second coming of the formidable MA Regnant used in the Innovade conflict. It features a slightly different head design from its previous incarnation. It was intended for mass production, it was never put into use due to the unexpected ELS Invasion.
Mobile Armor Mode
In addition to electrified wire grapplers, Regnant II possesses a GN Field, capable of withstanding a Hyper Burst blast from GN-008 Seravee Gundam. It also possesses a hyper beam weapon similar to the Empruss which the beam's path can curve trajectory to shoot down evasive targets.
Mobile Suit Mode
Larger than any known mobile suit. Its head looks similar to the GN-X, but its unknown if it has a gundam-style head underneath. Unit 2’s sensor system has been re-designed and it uses a helmet with a larger sensor range.[1] It is made to be a ranged attack suit, slightly similar to the original. In addition, its strength allows it to literally smash opposing mobile suits in melee combat.
Armaments
- GN Fangs
- The Regnant possesses 10 GN Fangs. Similar to the Fangs of Arche Gundam, they require periodic recharging to ensure their continued usage.
- GN Particle Cannon
- Similar to the cannon installed on the GNMA-Y0001 Empruss, the Regnant's GN Particle cannon is just as powerful, but literally with one unique twist. The particle cannon can change direction based on the location of the enemy. This makes the Regnant even more dangerous than its predecessor
- Egner Whip
- Mounted in sets of four per hand, these cables can wrap around enemy mobile suits and electrocute them.
- GN Missiles
- The Regnant has GN Missiles, with 8 missiles per hand. These are capable of similar damage to other GN Missiles.
Systems
History
The GNMA-0001V Regnant would have been the Innovators's greatest mobile weapon, which was planned to be mass produced. A small number of GNMA-0001V2 Regnant 2 units would be able to go against the Gundams. If Celestial Being had ended, the Innovades would have had more influence on society than now. Later on, if they were to rule during the ELS encounter, the "dialogues" would not have been expected.

- Unit 2 was based on one of the draft design Regnant. Originally, 2 Regnants were planned to be used for the show. Unit 2’s head was supposed to be the head unit for Louise’s regnant.
