The GNW-003/SH Liang (aka Liang), is a stealth infiltration shuttle that houses GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei. It is featured in the season 2 of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam 00. The unit is piloted by Nena Trinity.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
Liang is similar to Celestial Being Assault Container for Nena Trinity's GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei. Liang has the same color scheme as Drei and is used for reconnaissance missions for stealth purposes. It's a Mobile Suit infiltration shuttle for Throne Drei, capable of atmospheric re-entry and exit, a versatile all-purpose infiltrator. The Liang has a GN Long Rifle for offensive purposes (which is similar in appearance to the one used by the Gundam Throne Eins Turbulenz). When needed, Liang can expand its form, revealing a combat ready GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei within. Like the Assault Container and all other support units, Liang is dependent on GN Particles from a GN Drive.
- GN Long Rifle
- Liang has a GN Long Rifle that's used for long range firing. It's not a weapon deployed often as its purpose is stealth and infiltration. It can also be wielded the Throne Drei by hand.
During Celestial Being assault on Memento Mori, Nena used the Liang to attack Healing Care's Gadessa, providing a distraction that allowed Setsuna in the GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser to disarm Healing's mobile suit.
Regene Regetta had leaked the coordinates of Veda to Wang Liu Mei. Nena later intercepts Wang's ship after being mysteriously unavailable for Wang to contact. She reveals the mobile suit that is contained in the Liang, the GNW-003 Gundam Throne Drei, and destroys the Trinity Mothership. It's fate after this is unknown.
Notes & Trivia
- Depending how Liang is pronounced, it can mean "beautiful" or "two" in Mandarin-Chinese.
