Gundam Abulhool is the prototype predecessor to Gundam Kyrios and part of second generation Gundams. Abulhool's transformation is simplistic in mobile suit form. The rear transforms into a pair of legs. The middle section doesn't transform at all, exposing the plane's cockpit in an awkward formation. The unit also has two heads, one in mobile suit mode and the other at the nose of Abulhool's fighter mode. The suit was developed roughly 15 years ago (if not more) and continuously altered for mobile suit experimentation. The full extent of its refinement is unknown , however it can be assumed Abulhool's development resulted to a physical form close to Kyrios.
Unlike other Gundams, Abulhool's propulsion system is a combination of GN vernier and plasma engine.
Abulhool is Arabic in origin from abu elhool literally meaning "father of fear" used to refer to the Great Sphinx.

Variant
GNY-003F Gundam Abulhool Type F
Appears in the sidestory Mobile Suit Gundam 00F as one of Fereshte's Gundams. In flight mode it can use plasma engines instead of GN particles to conceal it being a Gundam.
Combat Characteristics
Fighter Mode
Gundam Abulhool's fighter mode resembles to a F-22 Raptor, fast and highly maneuverable. Abulhool alone has no built in weapons systems, the unit requires ordinance pods for combat. It's unclear what are its full weapons compliments, but it can at least carry missile pods (seen in the manga). The nose of its fighter form has head for visual sensors.
Mobile Suit Mode
Abulhool's melee combat capabilities are limited to only kicks and relying on it's weapon(s) packages for defense/offense. Abulhool is the only mobile unit with two heads. The chest area of Abulhool is also the nose in its fighter jet form, there the extra head can provide additional sensory data for the pilot to use.
History
Azadistan
While Dynames/Lockon was engaging Graham Aker in the Azadistan desert, Fon Spaak was dispatched with Abulhool to provide support. Abulhool had a brief encounter with Ali Al Saachez, but didn't fight him and flew off.
Trivia
The mobile suit mode of the GNY-003 bears some symilarity to the GERWALK moke of the variable fighters of the Macross franchise.
