Gundam Battle Operation NEXT (機動戦士ガンダム バトルオペレーションNEXT Kidō Senshi Gandamu Batoru Operēshon NEXT?) is a free to play, 5v5 team based action game, developed by B.B. Studio and published by Bandai Namco featuring over 50 mobile suits and mobile armours from several series, including Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Gundam 0080: War in the pocket, Gundam Wing, Gundam 08th MS Team, Gundam SEED, Gundam 00, Gundam Unicorn, Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, MSV & MSV-R.

It is currently only available on the Japanese PlayStation Network via digital download.

Gameplay

Players are grouped into teams of five per side. The game will not begin until there is an equal number of participants and players from both sides confirm a complete launch preparation.

Controls

During crouch, ○ button(hold) Call SFS(Sub Flight System) Allows you to traverse the map quickly.
During crouch, △ button(hold) Deploy a radar pod(unlocked via the mastery tree) Radar pods show enemy locations within the range of operation
Left stick while holding down the L1 button Manual aiming mode You are stationary while manual aiming, use with caution
Press and hold □ button or △ button Prediction shooting Red=lock, signifying the highest chance to hit

Game Rules

Suppression game

Overview

  • Or the "forces gauge" of the target to zero in the time limit, the game rules the military remaining strength gauge a large amount in the time limit at the end is victory.
  • It conquered a relay point that dot on the map, along with the time you can reduce the "strength gauge" of the other party by maintaining then defend. In addition, it can be enough to increase the number of suppression of the relay point to increase the amount of decrease in the other party of the force gauge.
  • Also by defeating the MS will reduce the force gauge, but the influence of the force gauge as compared with the decrease due to defense will be lower.

Enemy Machine

Mechanics

  • The enemy machine is deployed over a point, turning it back to white, attacking any player within its range until it is destroyed.
  • The team that defeats the enemy machine is rewarded with 3 frame parts at the end of the match.
  • The player with the winning kill obtains a 20p bonus, also support points are given to the player with the highest damage output and the player with the most support points.
  • How much camp that gave the blow of kept even if damage is to treat were defeated.
  • The team that defeats the enemy machine gains a purple aura and a 3x damage boost.

Mobile Suit Types

Type Characteristics
General Purpose Good all-round performance balance that can respond to any situation.
Melee Features high mobility and close range attacks. Suffers from lower HP and range.
Raid Features long-distance movement, stealth functions, transformation. Attention: this is not an Assault type
Support Features a long range radar and can provide long range support. Comparatively highest damage output. Very low mobility and close range combat.
