Gundam Behind the Front is a live-action short film produced by Rhizomatiks. It is presented in a documentary format set in an undisclosed date in the Universal Century timeline, with two elderly people talking about life before and after the One Year War. Synopsis[]
At the Gundam Commemorative Hall in Side 7, former Earth Federation engineer Peter Benda and former Principality of Zeon engineer Rem Lalique recall the day the RX-78-2 Gundam stood up against the invading Zeon Forces in the colony.

The short film was screened at the beginning of the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS all-night screening at Sunrise Festival 2016 on Sunday, August 21st. It was later uploaded to YouTube by GundamInfo on Wednesday, September 28th for a limited time viewing.
