High Grade Ver.G30th (HG Ver.G30th) is a line of 1/144 scale Gunpla kits of the RX-78-2 Gundam from the Universal Century timeline in the Gundam meta series. The line was first introduced in 2009 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam. Modeled after the 1/1 scale Gundam statue, the kit features better detail and articulation than previous HG incarnations of the RX-78-2 Gundam, despite lacking the Core Block System. Typically, each kit comes with a beam rifle, an unpainted beam saber (the handles are compatible with clear beams from other High Grade kits), a shield, and a Gundam Hammer; later variants come with additional parts.
