Homura (ホムラ) is a character introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Homura is the younger brother of Uzumi Nara Athha and the adoptive uncle of Cagalli Yula Athha.

First Alliance-PLANT War
After the Battle of Heliopolis, and the revolution that Orb had secretly collaborated with the Earth Alliance to create a series of experimental mobile suit, Uzumi resigned as Orb's Chief Representative, and Homura took over the position.[1] However, it was an open secrete that the real power remained with Uzumi, as Homura usually deferred to him in important situations.[2]
Battle of Orb
After the Earth Alliance lost their last remaining Mass Driver during the Battle of Porta Panama, an ultimatum was sent to the Orb Union, demanding that the nation surrender its independence and neutrality to become part of the Alliance, or face destruction. With Uzumi refusing to kneel to the EA's demands, Homura recommended that they begin evacuating Orb's civilians before the battle began.[3] Following the battle, Homura remained in Orb to lead the nation during the Earth Alliance's occupation.
Post-War
Following the end of the war in C.E. 72, Homura remained as Orb's Chief Representative as the country's independence was restored by the Junius Treaty.[4] He later stepped down from the position, and was succeeded by his niece Cagalli Yula Athha.[5]
