Ian Greydon (イアン・グレーデン Ian Gureden) is a mobile suit pilot featured in the Mobile Suit Variations series.
History
Born in UC 0051 at Side 3. Before the war, Ian was assigned to a support unit; with the start of the war, he was assigned to a mobile suit training corps to teach terrestrial mobile suit warfare. In March of 0079, his training corps was reorganized and sent into combat as part of the Earth Attack Force's 2nd Terrestrial Mobile Division; Ian participated in the capture of the California base, and was stationed there afterwards. In October 0079 UC, Ian was promoted to 1st lieutenant and placed in charge of a Zaku Cannon company. According to MSV TECHNICAL & HISTORY, Ian's company didn't actually enter combat until the last month of the war, but he nonetheless managed to bag 34 aircraft, 71 tanks and 2 mobile suits in this time. He ended the war at Zeon's Cape Canaveral base (the California base presumably having fallen in the interim), and eventually returned to the postwar Zeon Republic after being released from Federal prison on October of UC 0080.
