Ikeda (池田（いけだ）, Ikeda^?) is a fictional character in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Ikeda is a correspondent for the Japan News Network (JNN) in season 1, and a member of the rebel group Katharon in season 2.

History

Ikeda is a former correspondent for the JNN who previously appeared in many breaking news coverage about Celestial Being in season one. He joined the rebel organization Katharon after discovering many cases of suppression that involved the Autonomous Peace-Keeping Force (A-Laws). He had planned to expose them while at JNN, but he was fired before he could.

He also had connections with other reporters he previously worked with to get information about the A-Laws activities. Ikeda appeared again in episode 10 of season two with the other surviving Katharon members in the Kingdom of Suille base during a discussion with Klaus Grado and the other members about the Earth Sphere Federation's plan to reorganize the Middle East.
