Jean-Pierre Mirabeau (ジャン=ピエール・ミラボー) is a character that appears in Mobile Fighter G Gundam.

History[]

Jean-Pierre Mirabeau was one of many potential combatants who was competing for the spot as Neo France's chosen fighter for the 13th Gundam Fight, aboard the Mirage Gundam. As the tournament came to an end, only he and George de Sand were the last combatants left. In an attempt to achieve victory he would use the audience as a tool to keep George from attacking. However, the King, found this to be disgusting and disqualified Jean-Pierre, making George the winner on the spot. Enraged, Jean-Pierre attempted to assassinate the King, but would be stopped by George, however, during the scuffle, a number of the Mirage Gundam's missiles were launched into the crowd.

Following the incident, known as the "Tragedy of Marseilles", Mirabeau was sentenced to a thousand years hard labor in a high-security prison, but he escaped from prison and stole the Mirage Gundam. When he landed on Earth, he encountered Master Asia, who infected him with DG cells of his own volition and plotted revenge against George. He attacks George, who is once again tormented by the trauma of the JDG-00X Devil Gundam, but is overwhelmed by George's rage at Raymond Bishop's injury and is nearly killed. However, he survives, and after regaining his senses, George removes Jean-Pierre's DG cells infection with the power of the Shuffle emblem.
