The Komusai II is a shuttle craft that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.

Technology and Characteristics

The new Komusai II was a drastic revision that looked more like a an actual ship than the original boxy Komusai, and had three major distinctions. First and most importantly it sacrificed cargo room in order to install larger more powerful thrusters. While its mobile suit carrying capacity had been cut in half the Komusai II now had the power to exit Earth's atmoshpere on its own. To aid this the Komusai II was designed with more aerodynamic control surfaces. The last major design change was the addition of two machine guns, giving the shuttle moderate offensive capabilities, though not enough to defeat an advanced mobile suit.

History

Sometime, either during the latter part of the One Year War or after it the Komusai was redesigned and give the designation Komusai II.
