The '''Regen Duel''' is a variant of [[GAT-X102 Duel]] developed by mysterious organization known as [[Librarian Works]]. First appeared in the series ''[[Mobile Suit Gundam SEED VS Astray]]''. ==Technology & Combat Characteristics== Similar to other custom mobile suits utilized by Librarian, the Regen Duel is compatible with [[Striker Pack]]s. The unit is a strengthened and redesigned version of [[GAT-X102 Duel]]. It's usually armed with the ''Bazooka Striker'', mounting the ''Gae Bolg'' 350 mm rail bazooka. Regen Duel is also armed with similar weapons to Duel Gundam with the addition of the ''Rudra'' 115 mm rail rifle, a hand-held version of the ''Shiva'' railgun. In theory, Regen Duel should enter combat by destroying large target like a battleship from long range with rail weapons, then discard both weapons and engage enemy mobile suits without the extra weight, which is the flaw of the Assault Shroud armor. ==Armaments== ;*[[CIWS]] :Installed in the head of the Regen Duel are two "Igelstellung'" 75mm multi-barrel [[CIWS]] guns, used to shoot down incoming missiles or smaller units. ;*Beam Rifle :The Regen Duel has a single 57mm high-energy beam rifle, which is identical to that of the original [[GAT-X102 Duel Gundam|Duel Gundam]], and mounts a launcher for a single 175mm rocket-propelled grenade . The rifle is carried in the hand when in use or stored on the left hip. ;*Beam saber :Regen Duel is equipped with two beam sabers for close combat and they are stored on the knee armour when not in use. ;*Railgun :The unit mounts a single 115mm "Rudra" railgun for additional firepower in ranged combat. This is a handheld variant of the "Shiva" railgun used by the [[GAT-X102 Duel]] Assault Shroud and can be stored on the right hip. ;*Rail bazooka :Equipped on the Bazooka Striker, the Gae Bolg 350 mm rail bazooka is a projectile weapon which uses electromagnetic forces to launch the projectile. ==History== Regen Duel was frequently deployed by Librarian Works in their attack on EA and ZAFT forces <ref> Seed Vs Astray Chapter 8 </ref>. It was also deployed alongside Vent Saviour during Goud Veia's second meeting with Elijah but it was not involved in the battle. For that mission, Katie was merely there to monitor Goud Veia's action <ref> Seed Vs Astray Chapter 5 </ref>. When Goud Veia escaped after hijacking Elijah's ZAKU, Katie immediately gave chase in the Regen Duel but failed to capture him.
