Synopsis[]
Uso, his young friends and his League Militaire's friends and allies (including the Shrike Team) are travelling by air towards Arti Gibraltar. Along the way they have an incident with a pair of Zanscare Yellow Jackets piloting Overhead Hawks.
Uso succesfully creates a distraction with the Core Fighter, convincing the Yellow Jackets to give chase to him without revealing that the transports are carrying League Militaire equipment and personnel. There is a brief fight, but the Overhead Hawks run out of ammon fairly soon and have to give up.
Uso reconnects with his young friends at the next port city, where they walk incognito. Coincidentally, Fuala Griffon is at the very same city, walking in civil clothes through its streets. They meet each other without either side suspecting who the other truly are.
As it happens, the guillotine that Fuala has been using is moved has been causing too much commotion and is moved to another place - coincidentally, right in front of the assembled group. Zanscare Empire operatives present have to act to subdue the start of a protest riot. Uso recognizes the danger to a man present whom he befriended earlier that day (Lob Olesches) and attempts to flee with him. Unfortunately, Olesches ends up sacrificing himself needlessly due a delusion that Uso is a boy dear to him named Nicols.
Uso fights Arbeo Pippiniden's squadron of ZM-S09G Tomliats while piloting the Victory Gundam's Core Fighter and is almost overwhelmed by their good teamwork, but turns the tide by using the unusual tactic of fighting with the Beam Saber without fully forming the Gundam.
Pursuing Kwan Lee's retreating squadron, Uso ends up running into Fuala's ZM-A05G Recarl, piloted by Metchet Rubence, and causes great damage to it. Fuala reluctantly gives up chase when informed of how serious the damage is.
