The MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type [Falaq] is a variant of the MS-14B Gelgoog High Mobility Type that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Blazing Shadow.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The Gelgoog High Mobility Type [Falaq] is a highly mobile custom Gelgoog used by the Falaq faction of the Zeon Remnants. Immediately after the One Year War, these units were created by adding additional vernier thrusters and mounting propellant tanks to the backs of mobile suits left by the fallen Principality of Zeon. The units have also been painted to imitate a snake pattern in honor of Falak, the giant snake in Islamic legend which supports the rest of creation above it. The Gelgoog High Mobility Type [Falaq] is nicknamed Tosaka (トサカ , meaning a rooster's comb?) by the Shutendouji, in reference to the commander-type blade antenna on the mobile suit's head.
Armaments[]
- Twin Beam Sword
- The same close-range melee weapon as used by the normal Gelgoog, it is also known as a beam naginata. Its handle is about the length of two beam saber hilts and has a beam emitter at both ends, allowing it to generate two beam blades by containing and shaping plasma via an I-Field. The weapon can cut through most armor not treated with anti-beam coating. It can also generate only a beam blade on one end.
