The MSA-003 Nemo Cannon is a mobile suit that appears in Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

An equipment variant of the MSA-003 Nemo, the Nemo Cannon was equipped with a long shield booster for bombardment. The long shield booster was developed to match the AEUG's universal standards, and can be used with a variety of machines. The long shield itself runs on an independent generator, so the mega particle gun can be used regardless of the generator output of the mobile suit itself. The head unit is fitted with a face cover for sensor protection, and the left side of the chest mounts an additional sensor unit similar to the RMS-179 GM II.

The long shield booster includes an extending arm that can latch onto the arm or backpack of a mobile suit. Using these arms, the Nemo Cannon can carry a single booster on its arm or two on its backpack. Other than the enhanced sensors and the additional firepower granted by the use of long shield boosters, the Nemo Cannon's mobility is also greatly upgraded, with the presence of maneuverable thrusters on each shield booster granting additional speed and AMBAC mobility.

Armaments[]

  • 60mm Vulcan Gun
A pair of shell-firing armament built into the head. Low offensive power, only used to restrict enemy movement, and lay down a wall of suppressive fire due to their rapid fire capability.
  • Beam Saber
The beam saber is a small device held in the mobile suit's hands when deployed and is powered by a rechargeable energy capacitor. It emits high-energy Minovsky particles to form a blade-shaped I-field (via manipulation of electromagnetic fields), and then fills this I-field shell with superheated Minovsky particle plasma to produce an effective cutting blade. The Nemo uses the same beam saber as the Rick Dias, and a pair of them are stored on the rear waist armor, each power rated at 0.4 MW.
  • BOWA·BR-S-85-C2 Beam Rifle
A portable energy weapon that shoots out mega particle beams. The Nemo uses the same beam rifle as the RMS-179 GM II; which has a power rating of 1.9 MW and is powered by a built-in energy CAP system.
  • Shield
For defense, the Nemo Cannon can use the same shield as its predecessor. It can switch between an expanded state and a collapsed state for ease of use, and like other shields, its surface has an anti-beam coating to defend against beam attacks. Other features of the shield include sharp edges at the top for ramming/striking attacks and latches on the back for mounting other weapons or equipment.
  • Long Shield Booster
Mounted on each shield booster of the Nemo Cannon is powerful mega particle cannon, providing additional long ranged firepower against enemy ships and mobile suits. These shield boosters serve as maneuvering binders as well to enhance the Nemo Cannon's speed and agility, with a pair of extendable thrusters mounted to each booster. The Nemo Cannon can mount two shield boosters on the backpack, or mount one on the arm.
