Unable to shake off the Callisto brothers and with the firing countdown of Divine Punishment approaching, Tobia and the Steel 7 team makes a desperate attempt to complete the objective. Nuclear missiles fired from Minoru's F-90II I-type are intercepted, but Giri escapes from the grasp of the Callisto brothers and rams his heavily-damaged mobile suit into Divine Punishment in a suicidal effort, altering the firing angle of Divine Punishment slightly, causing its first shot to miss Earth.

In order to destroy Divine Punishment once and for all, Tobia goes on a suicidal offensive in his X-1 Full Cloth to engage the Callisto brothers in an attempt to cover Minoru's advance towards Divine Punishment.

Chapter 14: Breaking Space[]

The duel between the Callisto brothers and Tobia continues. Tobia pushes his X-1 Full Cloth to its limits and manages to stay on par with the Callisto brothers, but Callisto's Light stops his movement, allowing Callisto's Shadow to catch up to Minoru. At the brink of Minoru being intercepted, Mitchell musters his courage and resolve, activates his F91's MEPE mode and with his silhouette attack, manages to flank Callisto's Shadow and lands a critical hit from behind, incapacitating the Libertas Dextra Dictus. However, he is killed when his F91 suffers a direct him from Callisto's Shadow's retaliation. Enraged by his disciple's death, Minoru pierces the Libertas Dextra Dictus with his lance, killing Callisto's Shadow. In the meantime, Tobia is able to seriously cripple the Jurisidis Sinistra Dictus with a trick shot with the X-1 Full Cloth's Murasame Blaster. As the path to Divine Punishment is clear, he weeps for the deaths of his comrades.

Chapter 15: The Direction He Heads Towards[]

Tobia and Europa proceeds towards Divine Punishment to destroy it. Having lost both legs, Minoru's F-90II I-type is unable to navigate so he stays behind and entrusts them to complete the mission. He is later joined by Rosemary to defend themselves from Jupiter Empire forces.

Watching Tobia's fearlessness, Europa narrates Tobia's similarities with her lover Curtis Rothko, and laments that she and Tobia are fundamentally different.

The heavily-damaged Jurisdis Sinistra Dictus catches up to Tobia and their death match continues inside the barrel of Divine Punishment. Europa's mobile suit takes a direct hit from Callisto's Light, but Tobia ultimately defeats Callisto's Light. As Tobia and Europa are about to be caught by the self-explosion of the colony laser, Europa, realizing that she is injured beyond help, sacrifices herself to save Tobia by catching and swinging his X-1 Full Cloth away to safety, and she perishes with the destruction of the colony laser. A rebellion faction within the Jupiter Empire then appears to take over the battlefield and suppresses Callisto brothers' loyalists. Minoru and Rosemary survive, and when Minoru laments that he has again let younger soldiers he trained to perish before him, he is comforted by Rosemary.

In the aftermath of the battle, the Earth Federation decides to conceal the incident from the public. Rosemary and Minoru are appointed inspectors of Jupiter and they marry each other. Rosemary publishes a dramatized version of the battles of Steel 7 team, and she and Minoru becomes legendary figures. Meanwhile, due to his untoward involvements with the Crossbone Vanguard, Harrison Madin is fired from the Earth Federation forces and works as a ordinary staffer at Black Row Transport. Two years later, Tetenith decides to return to Jupiter to assume leadership of the conglomerate as part of Crux Dogatie's leftover wealth. During a random trip, her black cat breaks loose from her embrace and is caught by a man in sunglasses in the back alley. From the man's comment that the cat "is his second favorite thing" she realizes that he is none other than Tobia. She hires him on the spot to become her close aide, telling him to never leave her side.
