Mobile Suit Gundam 00 -Awakening of the Trailblazer- (機動戦士ガンダムＯＯ ―Ａ ｗａｋｅｎｉｎｇ ｏｆ ｔｈｅ Ｔｒａｉｌｂｌａｚｅｒ― Kidousenshi Gandamu OO -A wakening of the Trailblazer-?) is the manga adaption of the 2010 movie released under the same title. It is written by Kaishaku and was first published in Gundam 00 Ace (Gundam Ace October 2010 Special Issue). Kadokawa Shoten published a compilation volume in Japan on January 26, 2011.

Story
It is the year A.D. 2314. Two years have passed since the defeat of the ruthless A-Laws(Autonomous Peace-Keeping Force), and the new Earth Sphere Federation government has sought for peace by establishing a weapon-free world. However, a long forgotten ship that was sent to Jupiter 130 years ago somehow returns to Earth, seemingly with no signs of life onboard, but actually bringing with it a dangerous new alien threat — the Extraterrestrial Living-metal Shape-shifter (ELS), who have started assimilating Earth's technology and inhabitants. Now, with humanity at risk of total destruction, the Celestial Being makes its return to defend against the invasion of the ELS.

Manga vs Movie
- In the movie, Setsuna wiped out the GN-XIIIs with his CBNGN-003 Union Flag Celestial Being Version to avoid being identified as a member of CB. But in manga, he used GN-0000RE+GNR-010 00 Raiser GN Condenser Type with a cloak, instead.
- In the Manga, Setsuna returns the earth when Marina Ismail is old similar to the Movie, However here he uses the power of ELS to make her young again and so they can marry.
