The OP-02c Observation Pod is an umanned observation pod from the Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO OVA series.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The OP-02c Observation Pod mounts various types of sensors, one of which is a mono-eye sensor, which is normally used as the main sensor of Zeon mobile suits. When inactive, the sensor panels closed, which for ease of transport and launch. Once the pod arrives at its destination, the four rear panels are expanded, bringing the antennas and sensors in optimal position.

The OP-02c transmits images in real time using laser communication. It allows short-range communications in the vicinity of high density Minovsky particles using low-intensity laser pulses.

Several units are used by the 603rd Technical Evaluation Unit assigned to the Jotunheim for data gathering.
