Otis Arkins (オーティス・アーキンズ) is a fictional character in Mobile Suit Victory Gundam and the Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam: Steel 7 manga.
History[]
Otis was an experienced engineer who once worked for Earth Federation's Strategic Naval Research Institute. While he still in SNRI he become one of the crucial person who developed and refined Minovsky Drive technology such as the F90 Prototype Minovsky Drive Test Equipment along with it's subsequent variants. Aside from that he also aided Job John developing Gundam F90 and it's mission packs further advancements.[1]
It is unknown when Otis quits the SNRI but eventually he joins League Militaire (LM) as veteran engineers who worked on their equipment and maintains their Mobile Suits. He is a veteran who is always very calm despite the seriousness of the situations. With Otis skills the League Militaire, particularly the Reinforce Group able to maintain the group MS until his demise while the Reinforce Jr rammed into the Motorad Fleet Flagship.[2]
