Patrol Boats are a class and type of ship seen in the After War Gundam X anime.
Patrol Boats
Patrol Boats are light weight and highly maneuverable naval craft usually delegated to coastal defense. Lightly armoured and armed, these vessels are used to patrol and secure coastal areas and secure harbors.
In the anime After War Gundam X, patrol boats are used by both civilians and private nations to secure their waterways. One such nation that employed a large number of such ships was that of Saints Island. When the Freeden entered the territorial waters of Saints Island, it was met by several patrol boats and brought to a stop for inspection. Afterward the patrol boats escorted the Freeden into the harbor before continuing on their patrols.
