RMS-099 (MSA-099, MSA-009) Rick Dias

Developed by Anaheim Electronics the RMS-099 (MSA-099, MSA-009) Rick Dias (codename: "γ Gundam" (Gamma Gundam)) became one of the first mass-produced mobile suits of the AEUG for their fight against the corrupt Titans. Because many engineers who worked on the Rick Dias were former Principality of Zeon members, the Rick Dias featured many similaritys to Zeon suits. It not only features a mono-eye sensor its name is also derived from the MS-09R Rick Dom (Rick comes from the word Remake). The Rick Dias should originally be called Gundam γ which was also due to the fact that the Rick Dias is built out of the new Gundarium ฮณ. This material was developed by Axis and it makes the suit lighter and thus makes it able to accommodate greater fuel capacity. The Rick Dias was also armed with a great number of weapons and thus became a strong enemy for most of the Titan's suits.

The Rick Dias was used during many major AEUG missions, like the successful stealing of two RX-178 Gundam Mk-II units from a Titan colony and the Jaburo drop operation.

Variants

RX-098 Prototype Rick Dias

RMS-099S Rick Dias S

First appear in SD Gundam G Generation GATHER BEAT 2. This is minor improvement of Rick Dias by remove the beam pistol and replace the clay bazooka with more powerful long bazooka, Rick Dias S could be serve the role of long range support unit. While the random binder was removed, it's overall performance is better than original Rick Dias. It was design to work with the D-Defenser an assist unit similar to G-Defenser developed for RX-178 Gundam Mk-II. The D-Defenser would provide great thrust for Rick Dias S in space and also has pair of machinegun as addition weapon. The Rick Dias S combined with D-Defenser also known as Super Dias

MSA-099-2 Rick Dias II

Improved model of Rick Dias. Has the beam pistols replaced with 2-barrel mega beam gun. Several of Rick Dias II are built and assigned to AEUG's ace pilot but it's production stop when Anaheim Electronics decide to focus on their developing MSR-00100S Hyaku Shiki Kai.

RMS-099B Sturm Dias

Further improved model of Rick Dias and Rick Dias II. It has flared-out armor piece on the head for better protection of the sensors. The random binder propellant tank was upgraded into grye binder by mounted extra thrusters and verniers. This gyre binder also mount mega beam gun similar to Rick Dias II's. Anaheim Electronics was forced to provide Sturm Dias to Neo Zeon during the First Neo Zeon War.
