Remi Ruth (レミ・ルース) is a fictional character from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam AGE.

Personality & Character

History

Remi is a mobile suit mechanic stationed in the Diva-class, working under Dique Gunhale. She is fascinated with mobile suits, primarily the Gundam which she seems to be impressed by.

She catches the attention of Lt Obright Lorain, who develops romantics feelings for her which culminate in a marriage proposal. At first Remi cannot give an answer and runs away blushing, but sometime during the Diva's deployment she also develops feelings for Obright, and tells him to come back alive because she intends to marry him.

During the battle at Nortrum, the Diva is entangled with the Vagan mobile fortress Downes, and it's Photon Blaster cannon is damaged. Remi volunteers to head out in a worker mobile suit to repair the cannon. Just moments after she's done repairing, she sacrifices herself to save the Diva's bridge, jumping in front of Minks' Zedas M. She sustains fatal wounds and apparently bleeds out, not before sharing a moment with Obright where she tells him she wanted to make a family with him.
