Richard "Dick" Lumunba is a character from Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. A paraplegic professor, he developed mechanical limbs in the laboratories of the U.N Medical Center at the Libot Colony, Riah Republic. This was in fact a front for his work on the EFF G-4 Unit's RX-78NT-1 Gundam "Alex" [1].
History
Thanks to Christina Mackenzie, Alfred Izuruha was able to gain permission to visit the Federation base. Al entered Lab 2, where Dr. Lumunba worked, whilst he was being interviewed by a reporter who has suspicions that his work on mechanical limbs was also being used for mobile suits. Later, Dr. Lumunba allowed Al to play with the controls of a mechanical arm. While Dr. Lumunba was distracted, Al stole his keycard [1].
The morning after Chris used the Gunda Alex to defeat the Kämpfer, Dr. Lumunba informed Chris that that police wanted to talk to her [2].
