Side 2 is a cluster of colonies featured in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin and its OVA adaptation.
History[]
Its colony government, Hatte, opposed the Principality of Zeon [1].
Because of Hatte's opposition, Zeon invaded its colonies with mobile suits, all except for the capital, Island Iffish which was to be left untouched as part of Operation British—the residents of Island Iffish would be gassed to death and the colony would be moved to LEO to be dropped on Jaburo. Although the Tianem Fleet managed to change the course of the falling colony away from Jaburo, it still hit Earth [2].

The capital banchi, it was made up of alternating window sections called "rivers" and land sections, with three mirror panels attached to its exterior[3].
