Stephanie Luio (ステファニー・ルオ?) is a character that appears in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.

Personality & Character[]

Stephanie, who lives in the business world, where the power and tactics are millstones, shows more charm as a person in charge than as a gentle woman. Her sense of responsibility is also evident in the way she urged Hayato Kobayashi not to forget his aspirations.

Skills & Abilities[]

History[]

The business world of New Hong Kong, a well-known special economic zone, is controlled by a business group called the Luio & Co. The head of the company is a man called Woomin Luio, and his daughter, Stephanie Luio, is in charge of business affairs in his stead. She is known to be a great hater of military personnel, and she has shown her bitterness at every turn while providing supplies to the "Audhumla" when they call at the port of New Hong Kong. However, she was attracted to the sensibilities of young warriors such as Amuro Ray and Kamille Bidan, and secretly had high hopes for them. On the surface, however, she is an iron woman who prioritizes practical affairs, and in Kamille's opinion, she is "just like a female Wong Lee". Amuro, who had tried to make broad contact with Woomin Luio, was severely beaten up under Stephanie's direction.

By U.C. 0094, Stephanie has now succeeded her father as the company head. She would be asked by Oscar Dublin to have an interview for Kikka Kobayashi's work on Amuro Ray following his disappearance in the Second Neo Zeon War. Stephanie would recount her first meeting with Amuro at Audhumla and how he was a genuine and honest, if naïve, person as well as how he saved her during the Titans' attack after their meeting. She also expresses regret for failing to arrive for Hayato's funeral, and later introduces Kikka to Mosk Han, a former Augusta Lab engineer that improved the RX-78-2 Gundam before the Battle of A Baoa Qu to give more perspective for Amuro.

Once Kikka's interview is finished, Stephanie directs Kikka to former White Base crewmember Sayla Mass, who had aided her in sheltering children that were part of the Cyber Newtype program.
